Friday the 24th of June marked 100 days left to the start of IAC 2011. To mark the countdown to IAC 2011, the Local Organising Committee commissioned two Congress Flags to send on Tour in order to raise awareness and promote attendance at this years International Astronautical Congress in Cape Town.

In the remaining days before the congress the flags will tour the World and South Africa respectively where they will be photographed and signed by Organizations, Agencies, Companies and Individuals involved in Space at each location before returning to Cape Town in time for the opening of the congress on the 3 October 2011.
