IAC 2011 Flag World Tour
Friday the 24th of June marked 100 days left to the start of IAC 2011. To mark the countdown to IAC 2011, the Local Organising Committee posed for this picture with the IAC 2011 congress flag in front of the clocks of the South African Astronomical Observatory in Cape Town, which has been providing time signals in South Africa for the past 184 years.
In the remaining days before the congress the flag will take a world tour of space centres around the world before returning to South Africa for the start of IAC 2011. At each location, the flag will be signed by one representative of that location.
